As a 'friend of the soup kitchen' your support is vital to our work, in whatever form. Being a charity 100% made up of volunteers we cannot function without the loyalty, support, time, effort, enthusiasm, fundraising efforts and goodwill or our volunteers and supporters.

How you can fundraise

You can help us to fundraise vital money to allow the charity to continue its work by either joining one of our regular fundraising events or starting one of your own fundraising ideas.

Sleep Rough: 2010

You will spend one night experiencing a little of what it’s like being a homeless person. You will also be raising vital money for Peterborough Soup Kitchen, a local charity dedicated to feeding the homeless of this city for the past 26 years.

Our aim is to create a ‘very special event’ and for that we need lots of people to support us. You will be among like minded people sharing a worthwhile and memorable experience. We expect all sorts of people to attend this event, right across our local community and beyond.

Be a Partner

  In June 2009 Sainsbury's supermarket Bretton Store,
  chose Peterborough Soup Kitchen to become their
  'charity of the year', as part of its 140th birthday
  celebrations. Sainsbury's and Peterborough Soup
  Kitchen's commitment to a partnership that will
  benefit from being a year long link, with staff getting
  involved to organise fundraising events including charity collections and volunteering for the charity.
